Landscape Design

Working with you throughout the design process, visualising your ideas and transforming them into reality, our ethos will help create a space for you to be proud of and enjoy.

‘‘From the first moment we met you, and you came and talked to us, it was evident how passionate you were about what you do and how much you cared about taking my vision and transforming it into something more than I could ever have imagined. Every step was important to you and explained to us. I never felt pushed or persuaded into anything but incredibly supported to explore what our garden could be and how we could use it to its fullest. All of this was done while staying mindful of our budget.’’

The Design Process

ONE - INITIAL VISIT

The initial consultancy visit is an opportunity to get to know you, discuss your ideas and budget, and determine a client brief.

TWO - SURVEY

A survey and detailed site analysis is carried out. For more complex sites, a professional topographical land survey is often commissioned.

THREE - OUTLINE CONCEPT

Outlining ideas for your garden. A draft layout plan and supporting characteristic mood boards are provided for discussion.

FOUR - DETAILED DESIGN

The design is progressed and detailed information provided to assist with the build. This includes information on materials, construction drawings, sectional elevations plus lighting, drainage and irrigation plans.

FIVE - PLANTING PLANS

Plants will bring your garden to life. Plans are drawn up listing plant species, varieties, quantities, location, size and spacing.

SIX - CONSTRUCTION TENDER

The design is put out to tender for landscaper quotations.

SEVEN - BUILD

Regular site visits can be scheduled to monitor the build and ensure your garden is delivered true to the design.

EIGHT - FUTURE MAINTENANCE

A maintenance schedule can be produced to help you look after your garden once the build is complete.

NINE - OVER TO YOU

A final post completion visit will take place after 12 months to check on progress and maturity.

Budgeting For Your Design

Investing in your garden is worthwhile. The big question we are always asked, is how much will it cost?. The design fee will vary from project to project, and depends on the scale, complexities, and your expectations. The larger the budget, the greater we can achieve. The transparency of our pricing helps cater for most budgets. Click here for our current fees.
