We may collect the following personal data about you in order to help us deliver the right service.

How do we collect it?

This information is collected in a number of ways but is usually provided to us directly by you when you contact us using our contact for.

When someone visits our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. Our website is provided through Squarespace who collect a similar visitor data. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Squarespace to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We may need to share your Personal Data for example with our Partners, in which case we will obtain your consent before we do so. We will only share information when it is necessary to do so and in accordance with the law.

Why do we collect your personal data?

  • To provide you with the products you are looking for and improve our Platforms and services.

  • To display more relevant advertising.

  • To estimate our audience demographic, size and usage pattern.

  • To recognise you when you return to our Platforms.

How long do we keep your data for?

We are required to retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary, after which it will be securely destroyed in line with the law. Retention periods can vary and will depend on various criteria including the purpose of processing, regulatory and legal requirements, and internal organisational need.

When you use the web contact form, your contact details are stored in our secure email account. Contact Form emails are stored for a maximum of 2 years, unless you are a client – when your data is stored securely in our secure email archive for 5 years after the completion of our service, which we deem as long as is necessary for legal requirements, to provide our ongoing service to you, and to be able to contact you in connection with this service in future. 

How do we keep your data safe?

Access to information is strictly controlled. All administration staff are required to undertake regular data protection training and must comply with a variety of security policies designed to keep your information secure.

Your personal data is protected from unauthorised access and misuse. It may only be accessed by Pip Smith or Partners to carry out the uses indicated in this policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website and other Platforms; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal data, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
